Is this the official WhatsApp Business API?
Yes. connect uses Meta's official WhatsApp Cloud API. Your number is registered under your own Meta Business account, so it stays yours even if you stop using connect.
Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?
Yes, as long as the number is not active on the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business mobile app at the same time. We help you move it, or you can use a new number — even a landline that can receive an OTP call.
What are Meta's conversation charges?
Meta charges per conversation or template message depending on the category (marketing, utility, authentication, service). These are billed by Meta at actual rates to your own payment method — connect does not add any markup. Replies to customers within 24 hours of their message are free or very low-cost.
How is connect different from other WhatsApp tools like Interakt?
